I got an engagement ring for Christmas. My boyfriendand I had been dating for almost a year and both felt the time was right tojoin our lives together in holy matrimony.

Failure is the path to success. It helps us to touch the sky, teaches us to survive and shows us a specific way. Success brings in money, fame, pride and self-respect. Here it becomes very important to keep our head on out shoulder. The only way to show our gratitude to God for bestowing success on us is by being humble, modest, courteous and respectful to the less fortunate ones.
Hope and Despair
Hope is what keeps life going. Parents always hope their children will do well. Hope makes us dream. Hope builds in patience. Life teaches us not to despair even in the darkest hour, because after every night there is a day. Nothing remains the same we have only one choice keep moving on in life and be hopeful.

They shook and pulled，but the restraining string and the cumbersome tail kept them in tow，facing upward and against the wind. As the kites struggled and trembled against the string，they seemed to say，“Let me go！Let me go！I want to be free！”They soared beautifully even as they fought the restriction of the string. Finally，one of the kites succeeded in breaking loose. “Free at last，”it seemed to say. “Free to fly with the wind.”
Yet freedom from restraint sim* put it at the mercy of an unsympathetic breeze. It fluttered ungracefully to the ground and landed in a tangled mass of weeds and string against a dead bush. “Free at last” free to lie powerless in the dirt，to be blown helplessly along the ground，and to lodge lifeless against the first obstruction.
How much like kites we sometimes are. The Heaven gives us adversity and restrictions，rules to follow from which we can grow and gain strength. Restraint is a necessary counterpart to the winds of opposition. Some of us tug at the rules so hard that we never soar to reach the heights we might have obtained. We keep part of the commandment and never rise high enough to get our tails off the ground.
Let us each rise to the great heights，recognizing that some of the restraints that we may chafe under are actually the steadying force that helps us ascend and achieve.

Large areas of land are damaged by the exploitation of natural resources.
The population in China is multitudinous, 1.3 billion(perhaps 1.4or1.5 billion)people, five times the population of the US. China is short of cultivated land. The actual situation demands that China doesn"t imitate the West"s high consumption. China should develop electronic information consumption. Should develop economizing energy industries. If not, the Chinese would ruin their own environment,in further more, affect the global environment.

秋天来了!这位美丽的姑娘带着凉爽和丰收来了。田野里、果树上，穿上粉红裙摆的苹果羞红了脸，披上金黄色盔甲的稻子笑弯了腰、满树的桂花不停地释放出她的体香……好美呀!
秋天来了!鄱阳湖的大雁飞回来了，秋天来了，孩童的脸上印上了天然的腮红……“秋天到了，天气凉了。一片片叶子从树上落下来……”不知不觉，使我想起了小学一年级的这篇课文《秋天到了》，勾起了我童年的回忆。
那时农村的秋天是特别忙碌的，也是农民大哥最开心的季节。当广沃田野里的青纱帐开始变得金黄的时候，玉米挣破外衣露出笑脸的时候，瓜熟蒂落，面朝黄土背朝天的人们收获着他们辛勤劳作一年的果实，脸上沉淀出幸福的笑容。
“月落乌啼霜满天，江枫渔火对愁眠。姑苏城外寒山寺，夜半钟声到客船。”随着诗人张继的这首《枫桥夜泊》，我回到了童年的那个无忧无虑的"年代，那个嘴里吃着大大卷、玩着滚铁环的时代……
伴随着童年的点滴记忆，我沉醉在了金黄色的麦田中，风吹过麦稍，传来一阵阵呼呼声。使我不禁打了一个冷颤。轻轻地，我深吸一口气，我鼻翼的两侧，充满了淡淡的香味，那是稻香的味道，那是农名伯伯用大半年辛勤的汗水换来的味道。
远处，一台台收割机在漫天灰尘中发出轰隆隆的声音。我喜欢那种声音，那是秋收的声音、那是稻谷入仓的声音。“隆隆”的机器声中，收割机开始作业，收割机前进、转身、倒退、灵活自如，稻谷瞬时整齐倒伏在田中，那场面真是壮观呀!
美好的阳光，洒落的都是秋的颜色。我从麦田里走了出来，继续行走在乡村的小路上，闻着花香，踩着硕果，听着鸟鸣，哼着小调。听着农民大哥在田间地头唱着那带着浓厚乡音的歌，唱着秋天的好收成，唱着欢乐的童年生活……
夜晚，我做了个梦，我梦见我回到了童年，还是那个丰收的季节，还是在那个田野间。那个时候是没有收割机这种玩意的。大人们正挥汗如雨地给大地修剪着染得“金黄色的毛发”，而我和几个小伙伴正在田野的稻子间捉着迷藏，不时还命令大人们在旁边的果树上给我们弄些好吃的。虽说丰收时期对大人们来说很是辛苦，但是那时候的孩子却是最高兴的，因为有那么多的金黄色的“游乐园”，和那么多地天然绿色食品……
没几天，田野里的稻子就收割完毕，我也应该回去了。坐在回去的车上，望着人们把稻草放在场地上翻晒，望着整个村庄成了金色的海洋，我的心里慷慨万千，仿佛这时稻香仍在风中飘曳，我们也还在稻草间钻来钻去，直到臭汗淋漓，再躺到那用稻草堆积的金色的波浪上，看着回归的鸟儿鸟在头顶上翻飞。
不知从何处传来了一阵悠扬而动人的童声从山那边传来：“我们坐在高高的谷堆旁，听妈妈讲那过去的故事……”伴着这悠扬的歌声，汽车向着远方驶去。

秋天的美，美在一份明澈。
有人的眸子像秋，有人的风神像秋。
代表秋天的枫树之美，并不仅在那经霜的素红;而更在那临风的飒爽。
当叶子逐渐萧疏，秋林显出了它们的秀逸，那是一份不需任何点缀的洒脱与不在意俗世繁华的孤傲。
最动人是秋林映着落日。那酡红如醉，衬托着天边加深的暮色。晚风带着清澈的凉意，随着暮色浸染，那是一种十分艳丽的凄楚之美，让你想流几行感怀身世之泪，却又被那逐渐淡去的醉红所慑住，而情愿把奔放的情感凝结。
曾有一位画家画过一幅霜染枫林的《秋院》。高高的枫树，静静掩住一园幽寂，树后重门深掩，看不尽的寂寥，好像我曾生活其中，品尝过秋之清寂。而我仍想悄悄步入画里，问讯那深掩的重门，看其中有多少灰尘，封存着多少生活的足迹。
最耐寻味的秋日天宇的闲云。那么淡淡然、悠悠然，悄悄远离尘间，对俗世悲欢扰攘，不再有动于衷。
秋天的风不带一点修饰，是最纯净的风。那么爽利地轻轻掠过园林，对萧萧落叶不必有所眷顾——季节就是季节，代谢就是代谢，生死就是生死，悲欢就是悲欢。无需参预，不必留连。
秋水和风一样的明澈。“点秋江，白鹭沙鸥”，就画出了这份明澈。没有什么可忧心、可紧张、可执着。“傲*间万户侯，不识字烟波钓叟。”秋就是如此的一尘不染。
“闲云野鹤”是秋的题目，只有秋日明净的天宇间，那一抹白云，当得起一个“闲”字野鹤的美，澹如秋水，远如秋山，无法捉摸的那么一份飘潇，当得起一个“逸”字。“闲”与“逸”，正是秋的本色。
也有某些人，具有这份秋之美。也必须是这样的人，才会有这样的美。这样的美来自内在，他拥有一切，却并不想拥有任何。那是由极深的认知与感悟所形成的一种透澈与洒脱。
秋是成熟的季节，是收获的季节，是充实的季节，却是澹泊的季节。它饱经了春之蓬勃与夏之繁盛，不再以受赞美、被宠爱为荣。它把一切的赞美与宠爱都隔离在澹澹的秋光外，而只愿做一个闲闲的、远远的、可望而不可即的，秋。
